Description
Delph Locks, built around 1854, is a closely-spaced flight of narrow locks on the Stourbridge Canal, located between Mill Street to the northeast and Delph Road to the southwest. Locally referred to as "Nine Locks," only eight of the locks remain today. The locks are constructed of blue brick and feature stone copings, with conventional lock machinery throughout. Delph Locks, along with the canal footbridge and Canal Stables at Delph Locks, form a significant group.
