Description
The Old Crown Inn, a public house in Brierley Hill, dates primarily to the early 19th century, although its core may originate from the 18th century. The building is constructed of red brick and has two storeys. Three late 19th-century windows with two lights and transoms are visible on the front. The ground floor retains four earlier sash windows; one on the left-hand side is a later 19th-century addition with a shaped lintel and keyblock, while the others have plain lintels. A doorway is set within a dog-eared stone surround, with an inn sign in a moulded surround above. The roof is slate-covered.
