Description

This Methodist Church was built in 1853 and is constructed of brick in Flemish bond, featuring some stone dressings and a slate roof. The facade has two storeys and four bays, characterized by a cornice and clasping pilasters, along with a two-storey arcade of round arches connected by an impost band. Within these arches are narrower round-headed windows on each floor. The central two bays contain doorways. Above the gable, which is coped, there is an inscription that reads "1853 WESLEY." The north and south sides of the church have five bays, each with two storeys of round-headed windows.
