Description
Lloyds Bank is a bank building dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of stuccoed brick and features a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has four bays. The windows are sash style. On the ground floor, there are three windows on each side of a central doorway, which is separated by rusticated pilaster strips that support an entablature with a dentilled cornice. The two left-hand windows have been modified to accommodate cash machines, with the leftmost window replacing a former doorway. The central doorway is flanked by rusticated engaged columns with foliated capitals and is topped with a dentilled pediment. There are chimneys located on the left and between the second and third bays, which are set forward from the ridge.
