Description
The Waggon and Horses Public House is a public house built around 1900. It is constructed of brick and terracotta, featuring stone dressings and a tiled roof adorned with decorative ridge tiles. The building has two gables facing the road and three gables on the return side, with a polygonal turret at the corner that includes terracotta tympana. The ground floor features corner windows, large segment-headed windows, and subsidiary doors. On the first floor, there are pairs of sash windows with glazing bars only in the upper sashes. Inside, the bar area retains its original features, including floor and wall tiles, a lincrustra bar, a rear screen, and much of its etched and engraved glass.
