Description
Old Boggs Farmhouse is probably from the late 16th century. Originally timber framed, the front is now faced with Georgian brick and features three casement windows. To the left, there is a gabled cross wing made of stone rubble, which has one casement window. The return elevation of the wing shows timber framing and has a large, projecting old stone chimney breast. The rear gable end is also timber framed and jettied, with old tiled roofs. At the time of inspection, the farmhouse had been long unoccupied and was in a very dilapidated condition.
