Description
Whitehouse Farmhouse is a building that likely dates back to the 16th century or earlier. It features a rendered timber frame and consists of a single-storey middle section flanked by two and three-storey cross gable sections on the left and right, which may be from the 17th century and include a front buttress. The farmhouse has three windows, which are later 3-light casements, and 2-light casements in the right-hand gable. The entrance is a recessed early 19th-century doorway with a rectangular fanlight and a six-panelled door, framed by a doorcase with thin Doric pilasters and a pediment. There is also a flat-roofed dormer in the central section and tall rendered stacks, with the roof covered in tiles.
