Description

Poplar Farmhouse is a building that likely dates from the 17th century. It features a plastered timber-frame construction and has a later low-pitched roof with gable ends covered in modern interlocking tiles. The farmhouse includes a gabled cross wing on the west end and stands two storeys high. There are four widely spaced windows, which are 19th-century 5-light casements. The doorway is located off centre in front of the chimney stack. Inside, the farmhouse showcases exposed timber-framing and chamfered beams.
