Description
This is a late 16th-century house located on the south side of Bressingham High Road. The house is timber-framed and has been plastered, with a thatched roof; the east end is gabled, while the west end has a hipped roof. A brick chimney is present, with more modern polygonal brick shafts built off-centre on the east side. The north elevation features a modern gabled porch situated in front of the chimney stack. It has five small first-floor casement windows with leaded panes, a small canted bay window, and three- and four-light ground floor casement windows. An east-end first-floor canted bay window features moulded mullions. A rear wing extends to the south, creating an L-shaped plan. Inside, the house has chamfered ceiling beams and close joists.
