Description
Hole Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 17th century and refenestration occurring in the 20th century. The building is timber-framed, featuring a rendered front elevation with applied timber framing and weatherboarding on the sides. It has a hipped roof covered with old tiles, which includes gablets and an off-center stack that rises through the front roof slope between the eastern bays. The farmhouse has two storeys and four windows, all of which are 20th-century casements. There is a door located on the east side and a 20th-century single-storey outshot at the rear. Inside, some original framing is still visible, providing clear evidence of the original hall and the insertion of the stack.
