Description

YEW TREE ROAD 1. 5104 Edgbaston B15 Nos 17 and 18 SF 0685 NW 41/21 II GV 2. C1850 pair of semi-detached stucco Italianate houses. Two storeys with 2 bays each symmetrical overall. Plinth rusticated. Faceted quoins up to first floor sill course; deep frieze on string and bed mould to flat eaves. Hipped slate roof with fielded panel corniced stucco chimneys. First floor sash windows in eared architraves. Each has tripartite ground floor window with pilasters and entablature. Coupled doorways up flight of steps, each with plain Roman Doric columns supporting entablature with modillion cornice; panelled reveals, soffit, door and rectangular fanlight.
