Description

Nos 31 and 32, Lee Crescent are a pair of red brick tunnel back houses dating from around 1830-40. They form part of an irregular terrace numbered 31 to 40. Each house has one bay, with a central passage entrance flanked by doorways. The houses have gable end slate roofs and a buff brick eaves cornice, likely a late 19th-century alteration. The windows are sash windows with stucco sills and flat rubbed brick arches. The round arched entrances feature rubbed brick voussoirs enclosing moulded doorcases with corniced doorheads and lunette fanlights; the doors themselves are modern. The passage entrance has an unglazed radial iron bar fanlight above a panelled door.
