Description

This is a circa 1860 red brick house located on Portland Road, Edgbaston. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with quoins on the left and right sides. The ground floor features an arched entrance within a porch with an entablature and blocking course, alongside tripartite windows with cornices supported by brackets on either side. The first floor has a central arched window flanked by windows with cornices on brackets. All windows retain their original glazing bars. A long wing of servants' quarters and a coachhouse extend from the return frontage onto Montague Street.
