Description
17 Portland Road is a building dating from around 1861, located in Edgbaston, Birmingham. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof. The building stands two storeys tall and has three bays, with quoins on the left and right sides. The ground floor includes a central arched entrance situated within a porch that has an entablature and a blocking course, along with a tripartite window with cornices on brackets to the left and right. On the first floor, there is a central arched window flanked by two windows, each with cornices on brackets. All the windows retain their original glazing. To the right, there is a lower two-storey stable bay that is set back slightly from the main structure.
