Description
No. 7 Portland Road is a building dating from around 1860. It has a rendered exterior, although it was probably originally finished with stucco, and features a slate roof. The structure is two storeys high, with the ground floor displaying three bays that are rusticated and have quoins on the left and right sides. The ground floor includes a central closed porch with an arched entrance, a later 19th-century bay window on the left, and a tripartite window on the right. There is a richly moulded cornice band separating the ground and first floors. The first floor has three windows, each adorned with elaborate shell-moulds above and originally featuring blind balustrades below. The building is topped with a rich dentilled eaves cornice, and to the left, there is a rusticated archway.
