Description
No. 5 Westbourne Road is a building dating from around 1840. It is constructed of stucco and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays, with the central bay slightly projecting. The ground floor showcases banded rustication and a cornice, with a central door that has a rectangular fanlight. This door is flanked by pilasters and is set within a porch supported by Corinthian columns, which holds an entablature. There are two windows on the ground floor, each framed with scrollwork. On the first floor, there is a central window with a moulded frame and a cornice supported by brackets, along with two simple sash windows. The building retains glazing bars throughout and has an eaves cornice. To the right, there is a recessed two-storey service wing, also made of stucco with a slate roof, featuring asymmetrically placed sash windows.
