Description

CHURCH ROAD 1. 5104 Edgbaston B15 No 50 (Main block to Hallfield School) SP 0585 SW 44/4 II GV 2. Circa 1850. Stucco; slate roof. Two storeys; 5 bays. Rusticated porch with round-arched entrance framed by coupled pilasters supportive an entablature and parapet. Two round-arched window at the side. To the right, a single- storeyed forebuilding, also with round-arched windows, with, beyond, service accommodation behind projecting forecourt wall of coursed stucco ending in quadrant curve towards the coach house. Blank window in moulded surround to left on ground floor. First floor with 5 windows in moulded surrounds with splayed feet. Eaveso entablature with frieze of rosette panels.
