Description
The Royal College of Nursing Education Centre is a mid-19th century building located on Hagley Road in Edgbaston. It is constructed of stucco and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and is composed of three bays, flanked by giant pilasters on either side. The ground floor showcases banded rustication, with a central altered door that includes a fanlight, set within a porch supported by unfluted Ionic columns and topped with a deep entablature. There are two windows on this level, each adorned with cornices on brackets. The first floor contains three windows framed by plain eared surrounds. To the left of the main structure, a wall with a side entrance connects to a gabled coach house, which features a four-centred arch and a similar blank window above it.
