Description

Seven gatepiers to the front of numbers 13 and 14 on Carpenter Road date from around 1835. They mark the entrances to the carriage sweeps of both houses. There are seven piers in total, consisting of two pairs and a central trio. Each pier is stucco faced on a plinth, featuring foliage that leads up to panels, with a cornice ending in eared pediments.
