Description

The gatepiers to numbers 10 and 12 on Edgerton Road date from the mid-19th century. They consist of two pairs of gatepiers connected by a dwarf wall that features moulded ashlar coping. The ashlar piers are decorated with panelled designs that include swags of fruit and flowers in relief. Each face of the piers has segmental pediments with intricate carvings in the tympana, topped with urns.
