Description
These are a pair of gate piers, dating from approximately 1833 to 1850. They are constructed of stucco over brick. Each pier is square in plan and features indented panels, a crowning band, a frieze, and a cornice, topped with a pyramidal cap. The piers stand approximately 2 metres high. They are part of a larger group of piers forming a carriage sweep and boundary to numbers 107 and 109, and are considered an integral and significant feature of the streetscape in The Park.
