Description
15 Carpenter Road is a detached villa built around 1830-1840, featuring a stucco façade and two storeys with a three-bay front. The building has a plinth, a sill band, and a bed moulding to the frieze beneath the flat eaves of a hipped slate roof. It is topped with corniced stucco chimneys that have ornamental pots. The windows are all glazing bar sashes set within architraves, with panelled sills on the first floor. Notably, the right-hand ground floor window has been replaced with a rectangular bay that was inserted around 1900. The villa includes a Tuscan column porch with a deep entablature and a blocking course, and the door consists of two moulded panels with plain reveals. To the left, there is a single-storey annexe that features a swept-up parapet.
