This is an 18th century, two-story house of three bays, located on Hamstead Road in Lozells. The house is faced with stucco and set back from the pavement, with a section of screen wall sweeping down to the yard entrance on its right side. It has a gable-ended slate roof, with paired chimney stacks of stucco, incorporating panelled details and cornices. The house features a moulded eaves band and plinths. The windows are tall, with a 3x4 pane arrangement on both floors. Ground floor windows have panelled heads, flanked by consoles that support their cornices, which feature pediment blocking courses. First floor windows have grooved heads, flanked by plain consoles. The central entrance has a six-panel door set within a panelled architrave and a swagged fanlight. The door is recessed, framed by slender panelled pilasters and incorporating sections of an entablature to an open pediment.
