Circa C18 red brick cottage on sandstone plinth. Steeply pitched plain tile roof with hipped ends. Square on plan. One storey and attic. On south elevation central door with lean-to tiled wooden porch and to left and right C18/C19 two light casements with glazing bars in cambered headed openings. Above door a flush gabled dormer with two-light casement with glazing bars and to right a small flush gabled dormer with one-light casement with glazing bars. Two brick chimney stacks. Low red brick boundary wall with stone copings to the exercise area. Brick piers at intervals with stone caps. Projecting at centre of north side is an ashlar gateway with square piers and rusticated flat arch with large voussoirs.
