Description
This 19th-century monument, located 430 meters southeast of the Abbey in Stoneleigh, commemorates family dogs. It dates from 1839 and is constructed of ashlar stone. The monument features a square column designed in a Classical style, complete with a plinth, cornice, and a shallow pyramidal cap adorned with anthemion ornamentation on the frieze. One side of the monument includes an inscribed panel.
