Town house, now shop/dwelling. Probably C17 with C19 refronting. Painted brick with some stucco to internal timber-frame; tile roof with central break and brick end and cross-axial stacks. 2 storeys; 4-window range. Top modillioned brick cornice. Segmental-headed entrance in 2-storey gabled stuccoed porch to left of centre has key over panelled door, and flanking roundels; 1st floor sill band to window with plate glass horned sash, and top moulded verge and roundel in panel. Porch flanked by 2-storey canted bay windows with top cornices and hipped roofs; 2:4:2-pane horned sashes; right end has carriage entrance with 1st floor flat-roofed half dormer with 3-light small-paned glazing. Some exposed timber-framing to right end. Rear has exposed timber-framing over entry; C19 and late C20 gabled wing adjoining range of shops (not included); some windows are sashed.
