Description
Churchside is a house dating from around 1810, with a later added top floor. It is constructed of brick featuring buff headers and has a slate roof with brick end stacks.
The exterior is three storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window arrangement. The entrance features a half-glazed door set within an ogee-headed iron trellis porch. The ground and first floor windows are segmental-headed, with small-paned casements; the ground floor has three-light windows, while the first floor has two-light windows with a combination of 9-pane and 6-pane designs. The second floor windows mirror the first floor's casements, flanking a smaller window that has a two-light small-paned casement.
At the rear, the house is attached to No. 29, and the returns display straight joints from former chimneys. The house is situated at the end of a small square off the main street. The interior has not been inspected.
