Description

These are three houses, located at Nos. 39, 40 and 41. The buildings retain elements from the 17th century, though they have been altered in the 20th century. They are timber-frame construction with painted brick or plaster infill, a painted plinth, and a brick rear wing. The roofs are steeply pitched and tiled, with brick internal stacks. The plan is L-shaped.

The exterior displays two storeys and an attic, with a four-window front. Two entrances feature plank and glazed doors within wooden frames. The windows are 2-light casements with leaded glazing on both floors, set within a square framing with bracing. A single-storey hipped extension is present on the right return. The rear wing incorporates 20th-century casements and an entrance.

The interior has not been inspected.
