Description

Woodbine Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the south side of Henley Road in Great Alne. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill and an old tile roof, topped with a brick ridge stack. The cottage has a two-unit layout with an outshut at the rear. The gable end facing Henley Road displays jowled posts, and the front includes 19th-century casement windows. There is a 19th-century plank door with a simple trellis porch, along with two adjacent casement windows and an additional ground floor window on the left side. The left return also showcases jowled posts. At the rear, the outshut includes a plank door and a back wall made of whitewashed brick. The interior has not been inspected.
