Description
The Cottage is a house located on Bridge Street in Kineton, dating from the mid to late 18th century, with later alterations. It is built of brick on a blue lias stone plinth and has been re-faced with pebbledash. The roof is gabled and covered with old tiles, featuring brick end stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a two-window range.
On the exterior, there is a plat band and a top dentil brick cornice. The entrance, located to the left of centre, features an architrave and enriched brackets supporting a canopy over a six-panel door, of which two panels are glazed. The ground-floor windows are sashes with thick glazing bars, consisting of a 6/6 sash on the left and an 8/8 sash with an inserted top-hung light on the right, both set in flush wood frames. The first-floor windows have two-light small-paned casements. The interior has not been inspected.
