House. C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber-framed with painted brick nogging, plain-tile roof and cast-iron porch. L-shaped on plan with further extension to rear left. 2-unit plan to front range. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3-window range. Brick plinth. Small, square panels of timber-framing. Entrance, off-centre right, has plank door with moulded wood surround behind latticed porch between two 5/10 sashes with horns. First floor has 3 wood casements with glazing bars. Timber-framing to left gable head; further small timber-framing to rear right wing. Steeply-pitched gabled roof. End stacks. INTERIOR: has exposed rafters. Tudor Cottage, Bearley Manor (qv) and Manor Cottage (qv) form a group. Tudor Cottage also has group value with the Church of St Mary, Church Lane (qv).
