Barn Approximately 10 Metres South West of Burton Farmhouse (Burton Farmhouse Not Included)

This is a barn located approximately 10 meters south-west of Burton Farmhouse, which is not included in this listing. The barn likely dates from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the late 18th or early 19th century. It features a timber-frame construction with weatherboarding above late 18th or early 19th century brick infill, set on a blue lias rubble plinth, and has a tiled roof.

The exterior consists of a three-bay structure with a central threshing floor and square framing supported by tension braces. The entrance has paired 20th-century doors with strap hinges, and there is a smaller door to the right. The rear of the barn has barn doors flanked by brick walling and a brick lean-to outshut to the right. The roof is gabled. The left side has a brick plinth and gable, while the right side features an attached brick cow house with strut trusses and trenched purlins.

Inside, the barn has late 18th or early 19th century roof trusses, including tie beam and collar trusses with queen struts and some long wind braces. The flagged threshing floor is flanked by the remains of low partitions with tension braces, and there is an inserted upper floor to the right.
