Description

This barn, located about 50 metres north of Burton Court, dates back to the 17th century and has some alterations from the 19th century. It features a timber frame with woven panel infill set on a rubble plinth and is covered with weatherboarding. The roof is made of plain tiles. The barn comprises four structural bays, with a threshing floor situated in the bay south of the center. The framing includes square panels, raking strut intermediate trusses, and queen struts to the collar, with V struts in the apex of the end trusses.
