Description

This barn, located about 25 metres south of Hinton Court, dates from the late 17th century and has been altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a rubble plinth, originally filled with woven materials but now clad in corrugated iron, with a corrugated iron roof. The barn is aligned north-west to south-east and consists of five framed bays, with a rubble bay at the north-west end and a central threshing floor within the framed bays. The south wall includes a cart entry with a raked top. The framing consists of two square panels high, with trusses featuring two queen struts to the collar, ridge, and trenched purlins.
