Description
Emmett's Hill is a house from the 18th century, built in two stages. It features squared coursed limestone and coursed rubble with quoins. The roof is covered with 20th-century tiles and has rendered ridge and end stacks. The house has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys plus an attic. The front has a three-window range of 19th-century three-light casements with wooden lintels, and there is a 20th-century two-light casement on the ground floor to the left. In the center, there is an 18th-century plank door with a moulded wood surround and a wooden lintel, leading to a 20th-century dormer. To the left, there is a carriageway entrance. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
