Description

Thatched Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage built from coursed limestone rubble, featuring quoins and a thatched roof with rendered end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is two stories high, with a two-window range that includes 18th and 19th-century two- and three-light casements. The first-floor windows retain their original leaded lights. A central plank door from the 19th century has a wood lintel that extends over the ground floor casements. To the right, there is a 19th-century stone lean-to. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
