Description

The Manor and attached outbuilding conversion is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone, with the front rendered. The roof is slate, featuring a coped gable on the right and an ashlar end stack, along with a 20th-century ridge stack. The building is L-shaped and has two storeys with a four-window range, which includes 19th-century one and three-light casements. At the center, there is a part 18th-century two-storey stone porch, which has been partly rebuilt in the 20th century. The porch features an 18th-century panelled door that is partly glazed, flanked by paned lights. The rear of the house contains additional 19th and 20th-century casements. There is also an 18th-century stone range at the back, which is one storey with an attic and has a brick ridge stack. This section includes a 20th-century door and casements, alongside one 18th-century window that has a quoined surround and a lintel with a keyblock. Inside, the property is noted for its spine beams.

To the left of the main house, there is an attached 18th-century stone outbuilding with a hipped slate roof that has been converted into a room. This outbuilding features 19th-century casements at the front, set within a later lean-to, and has 20th-century French doors in a large opening at the rear. The outbuilding also retains an original 18th-century plank door with original hinges and a wooden lintel to the right, and it is noted for having spine beams and stop-chamfered joists.
