Description

The property is a house, dating from the mid-17th century, with alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed from roughly-laid limestone rubble, with a 19th-century slate roof and 20th-century stone end stacks. The house follows a two-unit plan. It has two storeys plus an attic, and originally has a two-window front with a range of four-light mullioned windows on the ground floor, each with a hood mould and label, and a range of three-light mullioned windows on the first floor. A gabled porch from the 19th century is centrally located, containing a 20th-century door. A central, gabled dormer window from the 19th century sits above, featuring a two-light mullioned window and a moulded hood. A small, chamfered light is present on the ground floor to the left. The interior retains 17th-century ovolo-moulded spine beams on both the ground and first floors. The original 17th-century principal rafters are visible from the attic, along with 19th-century purlins.
