Description
Berry's Orchard is a house that dates from the 17th and 18th centuries, with possible origins in the 16th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features quoins. The roof is made of stone-slate and has brick stacks at each end. The house has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high with an attic. The front has a three-window range of 19th-century two- and three-light casements, all with wooden lintels, including one located in a blocked original doorway. To the right, there is a 19th-century plank door with a wooden lintel. In the centre, there is a large rectangular projection for a bread oven. The rear of the house has additional casements and a three-light mullioned window. Inside, it is said to have cross beams.
