Description
Church End House is a house that dates from the 17th century, with a mid-18th century addition on the left. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with quoins and has a 20th-century tiled roof featuring brick ridge and end stacks. The house has a four-unit plan and is two stories high, with a four-window range that includes 20th-century two and three-light casements with old wooden lintels. There is an additional 20th-century casement to the left of a 20th-century stone porch, and a blocked original doorway is located in the center left. Inside, the 17th-century section features chamfered spine beams with ogee stops on both floors, while the 18th-century section has chamfered spine beams with plain stops. Some partition framing is visible on the first floor.
