Description
Greenways is a house built in the early 18th century, with a lower addition from the late 18th century on the left side, and mid to late 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed from coursed ironstone and features concrete tile roofs with coped gable parapets and plain kneelers. The rendered stone ridge stack has a brick shaft, and the addition has a similar end stack. The house has a two-unit plan that has been extended to three units, with two storeys and an attic, and a three-window range. The entrance is located at the rear, and there is a blocked doorway on the right side.
The main range includes mid to late 20th-century leaded three-light casements with 18th-century stone lintels that have keystones and lowered sills. There is a 20th-century casement window to the left. A mid-20th-century roof dormer is also present. The left range features a 20th-century three-light leaded casement and an old two-light leaded casement on the first floor, both with painted wood lintels. The right return side has stone-mullioned windows, including a four-light, a three-light, and a two-light window, all with labels. At the rear, there is a flush four-panelled door with a hood and a second plank door inside a 20th-century porch. The interior contains straight flight and quarter turn staircases, as well as boxed ceiling beams.
