Description

This cottage, located to the right of the Thatched Cottage on Mollington Lane, is part of a row and dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with some 19th-century alterations. It is built of coursed squared ironstone and features a slate roof with brick end stacks. The cottage has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a two-window range. The entrance is located at the rear. The windows are three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, and the ground floor windows have chamfered wood lintels. At the rear, there is a 20th-century door and additional casements. Inside, the cottage includes a stepped stop-chamfered ceiling beam and an open fireplace.
