Description

The Thatched Cottage is a mid-18th century cottage that forms part of a row of buildings. It is constructed from regularly coursed ironstone and features a thatched roof with old brick stacks at the ridge and left end. The cottage has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a three-window range. A four-panelled door is located between the first and second bays and is sheltered by a thatched hood. The windows are old two-light casements with glazing bars and painted wood lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
