Description

Wheelwright's Cottage is an outbuilding, formerly a wheelwright's shop, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of cob on a base of squared, coursed limestone and features a thatched roof. The building has five bays, with double plank doors on the left and center that extend to the roof. There are 20th-century windows on the center left, center, and right. Inside, the building has a trenched purlin roof and retains wheelwright's benches, a treadle, and a foot lathe.
