Description

Manor Farmhouse, now a farmhouse, dates from the early to mid 17th century with a 19th-century extension. It consists of two sections: the left part is built from coursed limestone rubble and the right part from ashlar limestone. The roof is made of stone slate laid in diminishing courses, featuring stone ridge and end stacks, as well as stone-coped gables.

The left section is a single storey plus attic with a two-window range. The ground floor has two 3-light stone-mullioned windows with hood moulds and label stops, while the attic features two 2-light stone-mullioned windows, one of which has a hood mould and label stop. There is also a 20th-century roof light.

The right section is two storeys plus attic, also with a two-window range. The ground floor includes a tall 3-light stone-mullioned window and a 4-light wood-mullioned window with a wood lintel. On the first floor, there are two 3-light stone-mullioned windows, and the gable-fronted attic has two windows with 3-light stone mullions, all equipped with hood moulds and label stops. The entrance is located at the rear.

Inside, there is a 17th-century wood dog-leg stair, wide elm floorboards, plank doors, stone flags, wood panelling on the first floor, stop-chamfered beams, and noted stone fireplaces.
