Description
Bridge Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1728, with 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick with glazed headers on the left end, while the elevation facing the road is rendered. The building features limestone quoins and has a red tile roof with brick end and ridge stacks. It is designed in an L-plan and consists of two storeys plus an attic, with a four-window range and two entrances. The entrance on the left has a moulded stone doorway, a six-panelled door, an overlight, and a hood. This entrance is flanked by three-light wood casements with cambered heads. To the right is a 20th-century door and a blocked window opening. The first floor has four three-light casements, one of which has lead cames and bars, and there are two gabled roof dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
