House, now restaurant. C17 with C18 addition. Timber-frame, roughcast to front and with painted brick infill to return (Station Road); steeply pitched slate roof with brick end stack to front of ridge and similar stack to return. L-plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 2-window range plus jettied gabled cross wing to right. Entrance to wing has 4-fielded-panel door in moulded surround. Canted bay window to left of centre has hipped roof over small-paned glazing; similar bay window under jetty of wing; first floor has 2 windows with 2-light small-paned casements with iron opening casements, and C20 small-paned casement to wing. Right return has square framing, wide eaves and lean-to outshut with entrance to return; varied fenestration. Rear has large C20 flat-roofed dormer and brick wing with gabled half-dormer. INTERIOR: not inspected.
