Description
This barn, dating from the 17th century, is located approximately 15 meters northwest of Leaford Farmhouse, which is not included in the listing. It is timber-framed with brick infill and some areas of brick rebuilding, topped with a plain tile roof. The barn has a three-bay layout that runs east to west and is a single storey high, featuring two tiers of rectangular panels and long straight tension braces. The central entrance has barn doors, and the roof structure includes exposed queen-strut trusses at each gable end. There is a 19th-century cart shed attached to the west end, but this is not considered to have special architectural interest. Inside, the barn has two pairs of purlins and straight wind braces.
