Description
3 and 4 Lady Bank are two houses that have been converted into offices. They date from the late 16th century or early 17th century, with some remodeling that took place in the early to mid 19th century. The buildings have a timber frame with brick cladding and a tiled roof featuring brick stacks. The layout consists of two units and the structure has two storeys with a three-window range. There are two segmental-headed entrances that have 20th-century glazed doors. The ground floor features two segmental-headed windows with 4-pane and 20-pane horned sashes, while the first floor windows have casements with pegged frames. The left end of the building shows exposed wall posts and wall plates. There are two brick stacks positioned forward of the ridge. The right side of the building displays an exposed collar and tie beam truss with queen struts. At the rear, there are two gabled wings along with lateral and end stacks. Inside, the building retains exposed timber framing and chamfered beams.
