Description
The revetment wall and railings on the east side of Ladybank date from the late 19th century. The structure is made of brick with ashlar dressings, featuring a brick wall topped with chamfered ashlar coping and brick piers at regular intervals capped with plain ashlar. The plain iron railings include enriched scrolled panels at intervals. This wall and railings stretch approximately 92 meters along the raised pavement leading to the buildings on the east side of Holloway, known as Lady Bank. They are an important feature in one of the best-preserved streets in Tamworth.
